Meet Erik Fernandez, Founder, President & CEO of Lexiam Accounting
From a young age, Erik was inspired by his parents, who founded an engineering consulting firm, sparking his passion for entrepreneurship. With his father as a role model, Erik always envisioned starting his own company as the natural path forward.
Driven by a desire to build and innovate, Erik launched or held ownership in diverse ventures, spanning real estate, coin laundries, and post-production. Over time, he discovered a knack for diving into his businesses’ financials, using data-driven insights to fuel growth strategies.
In 2006, Erik channeled this passion into accounting and bookkeeping, founding Clear Road Services. In 2017, he co-founded Compass Accounting LLP, which earned recognition as South Bay’s Best Accounting Firm in 2024. In 2025, Erik launched Lexiam Accounting, a dynamic venture offering a comprehensive suite of accounting services tailored for small to medium-sized businesses.
A dedicated supporter of fellow entrepreneurs, Erik is actively involved in an executive roundtable and various business networking groups. He serves on the board of Family Promise of the South Bay, a nonprofit, and has contributed to the Historical Commission of Redondo Beach, for several years. An avid learner, Erik aims to read or listen to 100 books annually. He resides in Redondo Beach, CA, with his wife, two sons, and their Boston Terrier.
